Best Buddies California is excited to invite you to participate in our Festival of Friendship: The Annual Best Buddies Bash on March 24, 2007 at Bay Meadows Racecourse (2600 South Deleware St., San Mateo CA. 94403). We are expecting the largest Bash ever with over 400 people in attendance.   Our Festival of Friendship will feature a 1-Mile Friendship Walk, fun chapter activity booths, live entertainment, free food and beverages, and amazing prize giveaways! 

The purpose of the Festival of Friendship is to bring Best Buddies supporters and members of the outside community together in one fun-filled celebration of our mission of friendship.  All proceeds from the event will benefit Best Buddies California to support and expand our programs across the state!

Tickets are $5 for Friendship Walk participants and $7 for non-walkers.  Tickets include a Best Buddies Bracelet and festival entry.  To preorder your ticket print out the following ticket order form and return it to your local Best Buddies office.  Tickets will also be available at the Festival.

The Best Buddies 1-Mile Friendship Walk

In order to reach our event fundraising goal of $10,000 our Festival of Friendship will feature a 1-Mile Friendship Walk.  We sincerely hope that every event participant will join us in this fundraising initiative by gathering pledges from friends and family.   Every dollar we raise helps Best Buddies place another person with an intellectual disability in the job of their dreams and assists with opening and maintaining Best Buddies chapters at schools throughout California.     

To start your fundraising contact your local Best Buddies office to receive pledge forms or jumpstart your fundraising by registering online to raise funds though our Run for the Buds website and send e-mails to your friends and family to make donations through an easy to use personal donation page.
