The ISM Charity Poker Tournament brings together broad mix of video game professionals from across all sectors of the industry and around the globe for a great game of poker in the fifth annual competition to benefit a great cause – Best Buddies California.

BEST BUDDIES is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
Best Buddies’ seven formal programs – Best Buddies Middle Schools, High Schools, Colleges, Citizens, e-Buddies, Jobs and Ambassadors – positively impact nearly 700,000 individuals with and without disabilities worldwide. Best Buddies California engages 5,200 students with and without disabilities in 111 school chapters throughout the state, and supports 35 adults with IDD in jobs at integrated workplaces throughout the Los Angeles region.
As a result of their involvement with Best Buddies, people with IDD secure rewarding jobs, live on their own, become inspirational leaders, and make lifelong friendships. |
